Bota partners with Zoom to bring My Notes to in-person conversations
Zoom announced its partnership with Bota on the Zoomtopia 2026 main stage: Bota devices will capture in-person conversations and bring them into Zoom My Notes.

At Zoomtopia 2026, Zoom announced on its main stage that it is extending My Notes to in-person conversations through new devices from Bota. It’s a big moment for us, and a natural fit: Zoom already captures what’s said in online meetings, and Bota is built for everything that happens away from the screen.
What Zoom announced
Zoom’s Zoomtopia 2026 announcement introduces a Unified Context Layer that connects meeting conversations with documents and data, so people and AI agents can move from discussion to completed work.
As part of the announcement, Zoom is extending My Notes to in-person conversations through new devices from Bota.
Zoom also announced enriched notes that link shared screens and slides to moments in the transcript, and workflows that turn summaries into follow-up tasks in tools such as Zoom Chat and Salesforce.
Why in-person conversations matter
The meetings that matter often happen in the real world — at a table, on a job site, over coffee. Those conversations rarely make it into the tools teams rely on, so decisions, context and follow-ups get lost.
With Bota, they can sit right alongside your online meetings in My Notes.
How it works with Bota
- One touch to record. Press once and get back to the conversation. Nothing between you and the person in front of you.
- Captured and organized by My Notes. Recordings from your Bota device appear in My Notes as transcripts or summaries, right alongside your online meetings (coming soon).
- Bota Bean is a wearable you can clip on, wear on your wrist or as a pendant, with 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Bota Leaf attaches magnetically to the back of your phone and captures in-person meetings and phone calls alike.
- Both offer 64GB of storage and 10+ days of active usage.
